Cable Lateral Raise
Intermediate Cable Shoulders
How to do it
- Stand with your side facing a low cable pulley. Grasp the handle with the hand farthest from the pulley, keeping your arm at your side with a slight bend in your elbow. Stand upright with your feet shoulder width apart. This will be your starting position.
- As you exhale, raise your arm out to the side until it is parallel to the floor, keeping the slight bend in your elbow. Tip: Lead the movement with your elbow rather than your wrist.
- Hold the contracted position for a second at the top.
- Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position as you breathe in.
- Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions, then switch arms.
