How to do it

  1. Kneel on the floor and grasp the handles of an ab wheel with both hands. Place the wheel on the floor in front of you so that you are on all fours. This will be your starting position.
  2. Slowly roll the wheel forward, stretching your body into a straight position. Tip: Go as far as you can without arching your back. Breathe in during this portion of the movement.
  3. After a brief pause at the stretched position, begin pulling yourself back to the starting position as you breathe out. Tip: Engage your core muscles to pull yourself back rather than relying on your arms.
  4. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
