Cooltivo uses artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance your fitness experience. This page explains how AI is used throughout the app so you can make informed decisions about your interactions.

1. AI-Powered Chat Participants

The characters you chat with in Cooltivo — called Habitants — are powered entirely by AI. They are not real people. Habitants use large language models to generate conversational responses based on your messages, fitness data, and their defined personalities.

While Habitants are designed to be supportive and helpful, their responses are generated by AI and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. They should not be treated as professional advice.

2. Workout & Program Generation

When Cooltivo generates workout plans or programs, AI is used to:

• Select exercises based on your fitness level, goals, and available equipment
• Structure sets, reps, and progressive overload across weeks
• Consider your workout history and muscle recovery when suggesting daily workouts
• Generate exercise alternatives when you request replacements

3. AI Models Used

Cooltivo currently uses the following AI model providers:

• Google Gemini — for chat interactions and content generation
• Anthropic Claude — for chat interactions and content generation

When you interact with AI features, relevant data (your messages, fitness profile) is sent to these providers for processing. These providers do not use your data to train their models under our agreements with them.

4. What AI Cannot Do

It is important to understand that AI in Cooltivo:

• Cannot provide medical advice. AI-generated fitness content is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified healthcare provider or certified personal trainer.
• Cannot guarantee accuracy. AI outputs may contain errors. Always use your own judgment when following AI-generated exercise recommendations.
• Cannot replace human expertise. For serious health conditions, injuries, or specialized training needs, consult a professional.
