Wall Slide
Beginner Body Only Shoulders
Also called wall angels. Sliding your arms up and down a wall trains shoulder mobility and the mid-back muscles that keep your shoulder blades in position.
How to do it
- Stand with your back against a wall, feet a few inches away from it, lower back gently touching the wall.
- Raise your arms into a goalpost position with the backs of your hands, elbows, and shoulders touching the wall.
- Slowly slide your arms up the wall as far as you can without your elbows, wrists, or lower back losing contact.
- Slide back down to the goalpost position and repeat with slow, controlled reps.
