Intermediate Machine Chest

How to do it

  1. Sit on the pec fly machine with your back flat against the pad. Adjust the seat height so that the handles are at chest level.
  2. Grasp the handles with your palms facing forward and your elbows slightly bent. This will be your starting position.
  3. As you breathe out, slowly bring the handles together in front of your chest by squeezing your pectoral muscles. Keep a slight bend in your elbows throughout the movement.
  4. Hold the contracted position for a second as you squeeze your chest muscles together.
  5. As you breathe in, slowly return the handles back to the starting position in a controlled manner, feeling a stretch across your chest.
  6. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
